Im happy Sooo happy
Lol outing with simon was good, it was actually one of the very very good ones, we ate an amazing amount of food today. And woah it sure was a very long time since we like really caught up with each other... So put 2 fat guys, 2 enormous appetites and 2 world class cockster and what do you get?
2 guys who eat alot, used silly betting stakes such as toothpicks and 2 guys who learnt alot about dogs today. As well as 2 guys who were totally amazed and charmed by the cute little shetland shepherd and the lazy alaskan husky. Woah when a pup looks at you with those endearing eyes and barks playfully at you... Your heart will simply melt away... haha and mine did~ lol.
But of course every thing has its downside, shetlands and huskies, according to the shop owner are not advisable for beginners. Especially the husky...
1.) The husky is a dog with its own mind, so it makes it difficult to train.
2.) The husky is a dog which howls instead of whine when it wants attention.
3.) The husky has alot of fur, so grooming takes a long time.
4.) It takes 2 hours to just dry its fur after a bath.
5.) It doesn't mix well with children/families because it is more indivualistic
6.) It sheds alot of fur due to the tropical climate here.
7.) It needs alot of medical attention as it may contact skin disease due to the different climates
8.) It needs to be kept in an air-coned place.
The shetland is not advisable because
1.) It sheds a lot of fur due to the tropical climate
2.) It has alot of fur which makes it same as the husky (all the fur stuff)
3.) The medication stuff is same as the husky as well
however the shetland is a very intellegent dog and makes very good family dog, just that it tends to shed alot alot alot.
However beginners should rear a golden retriever 1st or a beagle, both of which has less maintainence and less medical checks + they are the best for families as they can restrain themselves when infront of infants. So a golden retriever will much more likely befriend a cat, while a husky will more likely chase the cat around the house.
HAha, god i must go read up more on doggies... so cute~
Yeah i saw cat as well, and immediately it reminded me of jenna... so many cats in her house... i think even more then the pet shop... haha maybe jenna can open a pet shop le.
